Correct installation method of current transformer

Where the busbar passes through the wall or floor, fix the current transformer directly on the wall or floor with foundation screws, or first make an angle iron into a rectangular frame and embed it in the wall or floor, and then place an iron plate of the same size as the frame. (About 4mm thick), fix it on the frame with screws or electric welding, and then fix the current transformer on the iron plate. Current transformers are generally installed at a certain height from the ground. Due to the heavy weight of the current transformers during installation, special attention should be paid to preventing damage to the porcelain bottles when they are lifted upwards.

During installation, the centers of the three current transformers should be on the same plane, the intervals of each transformer should be consistent, and finally the base of the current transformers should be well grounded.

The primary winding of the current transformer is connected in series with the circuit under test, and the secondary winding is connected in series with the electrical measuring instrument. The polarity symbol cannot be mistaken when wiring. In actual work, due to limited conditions, it is also possible to completely reversely connect the first and second terminals of each phase of the current transformer, which is also possible.
