Electrical Current Transformer open circuit prevention measures

(1) The secondary circuit of Electrical Current Transformer is not allowed to install short-circuit protection devices such as fuses;

(2) Generally, the secondary circuit of the Electrical Current Transformer does not switch. When it is necessary to switch, there should be reliable measures to prevent open circuit;

(3) Relay protection and measuring instruments-generally not suitable for Electrical Current Transformer When it must be used together, the measuring instrument must be connected through an intermediate converter;

(4) For the Electrical Current Transformer that has been installed and is not in use, the terminals of the secondary winding must be short-circuited and grounded.

(5) The terminals of the secondary circuit of Electrical Current Transformer should be tested terminals

(6) It should be ensured that the connecting wires of the secondary circuit of the Electrical Current Transformer have sufficient mechanical strength.
