How to maintain Electrical Current Transformer
Nov 06, 2021| (1) Check whether the outer insulating parts such as the outer casing are clean, and whether there are damages, cracks, and discharge traces. If it is found that the surface is dirty, or even flashover is caused by the pollution, the power should be cut off and cleaned in time. If the shell breaks and discharges, the report dispatch will disable the Electrical Current Transformer.
(2) Check the Electrical Current Transformer for abnormal sound. There should be no abnormal sound during normal operation of the Electrical Current Transformer, but its faults are often accompanied by abnormal sounds. If the iron core is loose, it will make a larger "buzzing" sound that does not change with one time; when there is electric discharge inside, it will appear "crack" Discharge sound. If there is a large abnormal sound inside, especially a sound such as a discharge inside, the report dispatching is disabled.
(3) Check the Electrical Current Transformer to see if there are odors such as burnt odor, as well as smoke, fire and other phenomena. If these phenomena are found, the report scheduling will disable the Electrical Current Transformer.
(4) Check whether the outdoor terminal box is clean, whether it is damp, whether the secondary terminal touch is outstanding, whether there is an open circuit, discharge, etc.
(5) Check whether the lead connector is strong, whether it is loose, broken, or overheated.
(6) Check whether the grounding part is outstanding, whether the grounding is strong, and whether there is any looseness or breakage.
(7) For the cast-in Electrical Current Transformer, check whether the external insulation is corroded, cracked, discharge, etc., and whether it is damp.
