Low-voltage current transformer selection instructions
Mar 10, 2023| 1. Select the corresponding specification product according to the parameters such as primary current and busbar cross section. The primary wire passes through the transformer window. Open the flip cover, carry out secondary wiring through the wire crimping piece, and reset the flip cover after the secondary wiring is drawn out. Metering electrical energy can directly use the small hole of the flip cover to seal the lead seal to prevent electricity theft.
2. The working current does not exceed 1.1 times the rated value for a long time, and it is allowed to use it for a short time when it is 1.2 times the rated value, and the time does not exceed 1h;
3. According to the size of the measured current, select the rated current ratio, generally the measured current is 2/3 of the rated current;
4. The polarity of the product is expressed as: primary wiring marks P1, P2, and corresponding secondary wiring marks S1, S2; S1 represents the end of the same name of P1, and S2 represents the end of the same name of P2;
5. The measuring instrument is connected to the S1 and S2 terminals. At this time, the total load of the connected circuit should not exceed the rated load of the transformer. When the installation ammeter is far away from the current transformer or the circuit load is large, it should be preferred. A current transformer with a secondary current of 1A;
6. Pay attention to the selection of transformers with matching window sizes according to the specifications and number of busbars.
