Product Presentation: A Flexible current transformer, named after Rogowski coil, is an electrical device for measuring alternating current (AC) or high-speed current pulses. It consists of a helical coil of wire with the lead from one end returning through the center of the coil to the other end, so that both terminals are at the same end of the coil. The output of the Rogowski coil is usually connected to an electrical (or electronic) integrator circuit to provide an output signal that is proportional to the current. Single-chip signal processors with built-in analog to digital converters are often used for this purpose.  There is no metal (iron) core, so the coil is immune to hysteresis effect and magnetic saturation, almost no phase error and no secondary open circuit danger. Frequency response band is 1Hz-1MHz. Flexible Rogowski Coil is designed to use where regular solid or split core current transformers cannot fit, and ideal for power quality monitoring such as harmonics.  Advantage including high accuracy, wide measurement and frequency range.
