BSTBC500LTHB Series Closed Loop Mode Hall Effect Current 

The BSTBC500LTHB Series offers closed-loop current sensors that run feedback current in the secondary winding in such a way that the magnetic field generated by the target current is constantly made zero.

A Hall element is placed in the gap in the core around the input current line, and a secondary coil (N turns) is wound around the core.

To keep the Hall element's output always at zero, the feedback circuit applies a feedback current (I/N) to the secondary coil to cancel out the magnetic field generated by the input current. The load resistor (RL) converts this feedback current to a voltage, providing a voltage proportional to the input current.
