For example: the capacitor plate is smooth and flatness is poor, the capacitor screen is less placed, the capacitor is broken or misplaced, so that the voltage equalization characteristic of the Electrical Current Transformer is destroyed. Therefore, when the electric field strength along the local solid insulation of the Electrical Current Transformer reaches a certain value, it will cause partial discharge.
3. Due to unclean insulating materials or high moisture content, creeping discharge may occur on the surface of the Electrical Current Transformer. This situation is more common when a terminal lead discharges along the surface of the pad.
4. Due to the floating potential of the metal parts of the transformer in the store and the loose connection, spark discharge occurs. For example, if the supporting nut of the primary winding is loose, it will cause the lead contact of the end screen, the potential suspension of the primary winding shielding aluminum foil, or the poor welding, or even the disconnection, which will cause the electrical current transformer to malfunction.
5. Electrical Current Transformer contact resistance increase and local overheating faults are generally caused by the loosening of the grounding nut of the end screen, the loosening of the tap tightening nut, and the loosening of the connecting nut, bolt, and splint. In addition, improper on-site maintenance and management should also arouse attention. For example, the problem of water inflow and dampness of the transformer may be related to the sealing structure and sealing material of the manufacturer, but it may also be a problem of maintenance and management.
