How often should the current transformer be checked after grounding?

Jun 13, 2025|

Specific inspection contents
1. Grounding wire inspection: Check whether the grounding wire is corroded, broken, etc., and whether the grounding terminal is loose.
2. Insulation inspection: Regularly check the insulation of the current transformer, including insulation resistance and dielectric loss.
3. Appearance inspection: Check whether the current transformer casing is damaged and whether the grounding mark is clear.
Special circumstances
1. Newly commissioned equipment: The inspection cycle of newly commissioned current transformers should be shortened, and normal inspection should be carried out after 72 hours of operation.
2. After abnormal weather or fault: After abnormal weather, overvoltage or grounding fault, inspection should be strengthened.
