Usually Electrical Current Transformers use subtractive polarity labels, so if the polarity connection is wrong, it will directly affect the measurement, and there will even be multiple Electrical Current Transformers connected in parallel on the same line, which will cause serious short circuits.
2. The Electrical Current Transformer of the secondary circuit should set a protection area, mainly to effectively prevent the insulation between the primary winding and the secondary winding. After the high-voltage breakdown, it will be directly connected to the low-voltage side, which will directly endanger the safety of the person and the instrument. , even if the protective earth is set on the secondary side of the Electrical Current Transformer, only one terminal is allowed. Usually, the terminal near the ct box is directly grounded.
3. When the Electrical Current Transformer is running, the secondary winding should not be opened again, otherwise it will cause serious consequences. For example, the higher voltage on the secondary side will directly cause damage to the instrument and the human body, and the Electrical Current Transformer will overheat and directly burn out the windings, resulting in larger measurement errors.
4. The relay protection device in the Electrical Current Transformer is mainly used to measure the electric energy in the secondary circuit of the Electrical Current Transformer, so it should not be connected with the relay protection device and the automatic device to prevent unnecessary influences on each other.
Since the voltage transformer is in the process of transportation, due to severe vibration, the bolts are often loosened, the casing is damaged or appears, so we must check the voltage transformer before installation. Usually, we can only do some corresponding external inspections without thorough inspection. If there is an abnormal situation after the test, if the DC resistance of the voltage transformer is not fixed or the voltage transformer is disconnected, use the hanging iron core to check the voltage transformer. The external inspection of the voltage transformer can be divided into the following points:
First, check whether the secondary casing has cracks, or whether the edge is damaged and rough, and whether the glue between the upper cover and the porcelain tube is completely firm. Gently pull the porcelain shell with your hand to see if it is loose.
Second, the voltage transformer indicator of the square second check valve, whether there is oil leakage or blockage, such as the oil level must reach the corresponding standard, if the oil level is too high, it will cause the internal pressure of the transformer to be relatively large, but if the oil level is too high low, it will cause damage to the insulation material of the voltage transformer.
Third, check whether there is oil leakage outside the transformer. If there is oil leakage, the iron core should be lifted directly, and then the oil should be completely released before maintenance work. Turn the valve over the tank by hand and make sure the valve turns freely.
