Preparation before installation
1. Safety training: Ensure that all personnel involved in the installation work receive relevant electrical safety training, including but not limited to safety operating procedures for voltage levels below 110kV, relevant safety regulations for transformer installation and connection, and emergency response procedures in emergency situations.
2. Power off: When replacing, repairing or overhauling any electrical equipment, be sure to turn off the power first to ensure your own safety.
3. Clean the surrounding environment: Ensure that the surrounding environment for replacing the current transformer is clean and tidy, and there is no debris that hinders the replacement process.
4. Prepare the required tools: Prepare the corresponding tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers, etc. according to the replacement requirements.
Safe operation during installation
1. Check the equipment: Before installation, check whether the appearance of the current transformer is damaged or defective, and ensure that its specifications meet the circuit requirements.
2. Grounding: The current transformer must be installed firmly, and the exposed metal part of the casing should be reliably grounded.
3. Unified direction: The same group of current transformers should be installed in the same direction to ensure that the positive direction of the primary and secondary circuit currents of the current transformers are consistent.
4. Secondary side short circuit: The secondary side of the current transformer is not allowed to be open. When only one secondary circuit is used for the secondary double-round transformer, the other secondary circuit should be reliably short-circuited.
5. Use insulating tools: When working on the secondary circuit of the energized current transformer, the operator should wear gloves and use insulating tools.
6. Prevent short circuit or grounding: When working on the secondary circuit of the energized current transformer, care should be taken to prevent short circuit or grounding.
7. Short-circuit secondary winding: When short-circuiting the secondary winding of the current transformer, a short-circuit sheet or short-circuit line must be used, and the connection must be firm and the contact must be good. It is strictly forbidden to short-circuit by winding.
8. Avoid mechanical damage: Mechanical damage to the current transformer should be avoided during installation.
9. Waterproof measures: Waterproofing should be paid attention to during installation.
Safety check after installation
1. Testing and verification: After installation, commissioning and testing are required to ensure that the new current transformer works properly and meets the accuracy requirements.
2. Cleaning and recording: After installation, clean the work area, remove all tools and materials, and record the installation date, transformer model, specifications, and any important installation details for future maintenance and reference.
Other considerations
1. Regular inspection and maintenance: Regularly check the appearance of the current transformer for obvious physical damage and calibrate it regularly according to the manufacturer's recommendations.
2. Environmental requirements: Avoid using the current transformer in a humid, dusty or high temperature environment to avoid affecting its performance and service life.
3. Avoid interference: Avoid interference between the current transformer and other power or signal lines to avoid interfering with the accuracy of the measurement results.
