LO-DHT52 Closed-loop hall effect current sensor

 

A hall effect current sensor allows non-contact detection of direct and alternating currents, using a hall element, a magnet-electric converting element.

This minimizes power loss of the target current circuit and has a simple structure with high reliability.

LO-DHT52 Series Closed Loop Mode Hall Effect Current 

The TBC-DHT52 Series offers closed-loop current sensors that run feedback current in the secondary winding in such a way that the magnetic field generated by the target current is constantly made zero.

A Hall element is placed in the gap in the core around the input current line, and a secondary coil (N turns) is wound around the core.

To keep the Hall element's output always at zero, the feedback circuit applies a feedback current (I/N) to the secondary coil to cancel out the magnetic field generated by the input current. The load resistor (RL) converts this feedback current to a voltage, providing a voltage proportional to the input current.

Instructions

1.Incorrect wiring may cause the damage of sensor.

2.When the measured current through the center hole of the sensor, the current will be measured at the output end.

3.The dynamic performance (di/dt and the response time) is the best when the primary hole is fully filled with the bus bar.

4.User can adjust the output extent of sensor if necessary.

5.Rated input current and output voltage of sensor can be customized.
